Just realized I haven't updated in over a year. A lot has happened since then. I turned 18, went to prom, got a voice in my family court drama, graduated from high school (finally), and now I am at Virginia Commonwealth University at their School of the Arts. I really like it here, they keep me busy with projects and I really feel like I'm getting a lot better. I'll post some when I get those back.
Along with some of the good things that happened this year, something happened that I never would have even dreamed of happening. Three days before prom, three of my friends got into a car accident, one died (RIP Abel) the driver got brain damage but he's doing fine now, and the front passenger walked away with cuts and bruises. They were all seniors. It was such a depressing event, that testing for the underclassmen were postponed until the following day. That was a very sad week for all of us.
On a lighter note, the school dropped all their ratchet, petty problems and came together that week, and helped out the families involved in the tragedy. I went to the wake to pay my respects, and gave a card with money in it.
But yea, it was a full seniorific year filled with lasting memories, such as my last disney trip with the orchestra, choir, and guitar, and our senior trips and events. I'm looking forward to the rest of this year at VCU
